PEABODY MUSEUM GRAPHICS
Client: Yale Peabody Museum
Services: Graphic Design, Exhibition Design
The Yale Peabody Museum reopened in 2024 after a five-year closure, and Atelier Cho Thompson was delighted to work as a design partner for exhibition graphics for special galleries throughout the building. In the Student Gallery, we worked closely with a group of undergrad and graduate students to devise a conceptual framework, typography standards, and unique wall graphics for an exhibition on the idea of ‘fakes.’ In the Temporary Gallery, we devised a system of colorful banners to create an immersive experience to view a rare Babylonian Cylinder in a constrained space. Our work throughout the Museum continues with graphics for the upcoming Hall of the Pacific, set to open in July.
